Nathan W. Lambert

I served in the United States Army from 2003 until 2008, as an airborne infantryman with the 82nd airborne infantry division. During this time, I deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. After exiting the military and earned BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from UNC Charlotte. Upon Graduation I accepted a position with the Los Alamos National Laboratory specializing in quality and metrology engineering. Additionally I served as the line manager for a team of inspection and metrology, Research and Development engineers. This team was responsible for designing and implementing inspection processes to capture product quality requirements for weapon system detonators. In May of 2023, I came to ORNL as a technical professional in support of the innovative manufacturing research being conducted at the manufacturing demonstration facility. 

Outside of work, I am interested in Photography/Cinematography, Motorcycle racing, and playing the guitar.
