Jordan L. Belvin

Over the past three years, Jordan has become an integral part of the 4501 Operations team. He has helped strengthen production readiness and operational reliability across a diverse portfolio of isotope products by improving workflow standardization, inventory management, procedure development, equipment readiness, and day-to-day production coordination. His technical leadership and systems-thinking approach have made him a trusted resource for both operations and project teams while supporting the continued growth of Building 4501’s isotope production mission.

Prior to joining the 4501 Operations Group, Jordan supported nuclear material analytical operations at the Y-12 National Security Complex and held analytical chemistry positions in regulated laboratory environments. He recently earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with a Systems Engineering Concentration from the University of Tennessee, complementing his operational experience with expertise in Lean principles, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.

Jordan’s contributions have been recognized through the 2024 Secretary of Energy Honor Achievement Award as a member of the Actinium-225 Tri-Lab Research Team and the 2024 UT-Battelle Operational Excellence in Continuous Improvement Award.
