Milestone M2FT-13OR0202191: Modeling and Thermochemical and Thermostructural Evolution of LWR Engineered Fuel
A new concept for LWR nuclear fuel utilizes tri-structural isotropic (TRISO) fuel particles embedded in a SiC matrix in pellet form, termed fully-ceramic micro-encapsulated fuel (FCM), replacing sintered urania pellets.
