Aneesh Ramaswamy

Aneesh Ramaswamy is a postdoctoral research associate in the Quantum Communications and Networking group within the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division at ORNL. Aneesh’s work is in the field of theoretical quantum optics and quantum control theory. He has investigated light matter interaction with multiphoton processes in atomic systems and developed control schemes to generate robust and efficient entanglement in few-atom systems.

In his new role, he will be working on the PiQSci project and contributing to the development of scalable quantum-classical coexisting networks.

Aneesh has worked at Stevens Institute of Technology for the last 7 years as a postdoctoral fellow and doctoral student.  He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a B.Sc in Physics from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
