Bill E. Eckman

Bill received his B.S. in Economics from Hillsdale College. He has 20 years’ experience in the buildings industry.  He began his career with a role in designing structural systems for residential and commercial buildings; which lead into managing the design/engineering, sales, and manufacturing departments of the organization. From there Bill pivoted to energy-efficiency and weatherization through roles in the DOE Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), TRC Companies (engineering and consulting), The EnergySmart Academy at Santa Fe Community College and BE Efficient (residential energy auditing).  He currently maintains professional certifications from the Building Performance Institute (BPI), and has been a trainer and proctor of BPI and Building Operator Certification (BOC) programs. He will be working on initiatives supporting WAP in the immediate term.
