Christi Johnson is a Technical Professional in the Multimodal Sensor Analytics group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she has been a staff member since 2016. Before joining ORNL in 2014 as an intern in the SULI program, she received her B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research interests include hardware systems design, fabrication, and testing for small electronics to large-scale data acquisition systems, biometrics, and field-deployable systems design and development. Christi has been a team and task lead on several ORNL research projects in the biometrics area. In 2024, Christi was part of a team that was a finalist for the FedID Best Operational Success Award. Christi has been awarded four patents and three technology licenses for hardware design.
