Dave R. Pugmire

Dave Pugmire is a Distinguished Research Scientist in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He is also the leader of the Visualization Group. He received his BS degree in computer science from the University of Utah. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Utah. His research is focused on large-scale scientific visualization on HPC resources. His current interests include scalable visualization algorithms and systems on multi-core and future generation hardware. He is also a Joint Faculty Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee.
