Jamie J. Molaison

I am the Group Leader for High Pressure Sample Environment residing in the Neutron Scattering Division. In this role I ensure that our group is always working to achieve our vision, that is “to be the global leader of high-pressure neutron science support through our commitment to providing an unparalleled user experience while enabling complex experiments with the highest standards of safety and reliability.”

Prior to joining Sample Environment, I was the Scientific Associate for SNS BL-3, SNAP, which is the high pressure diffractometer. I joined the SNAP team immediately after completing my MS in inorganic chemistry at the Univ. of Tennessee, where I employed neutron and X-ray scattering to study the structure and dynamics of superacids and superacidic solutions.
