John Batson is a technical writer/editor in the Communications and Community Engagement Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He holds bachelor’s (Technical Communication) and master’s degrees (Literature, Criticism & Textual Studies) in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. John joined ORNL in 2020 and supports the Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle Division and the Biological and Environmental Systems Science Directorate as lead technical writer/editor. He also supports the SCALE team as a documentation maintainer.
