Nick R. Sesing

Nick Sesing joined ORNL as a postdoctoral research associate with the Fuel Cycle Chemical Technology Group in 2025. He completed BS degrees in chemistry and economics from the University of Wisconsin. His PhD from the University of Georgia focused on the synthesis and characterization of 1-D and 2-D inorganic nanomaterials. He is a veteran of the Marine Corps and is currently a reservist with a unit in Albany, GA. Past professional positions include a DoD industrial hygienist and a DoD physical scientist focused on air quality.
