Dr. Preeti Nain is a postdoctoral research associate in the Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Research & Analysis (MEERA) group at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory. At ORNL, Preeti works on the techno-economic and life cycle assessment of transformative technologies for energy-intensive industries via U.S. DOE’s Industrial Technologies Office. Preeti obtained her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. Following her PhD, she worked at Michigan State University on sustainability assessment and recycling of solar photovoltaics. Preeti academic journey is supported by competitive awards like UGC-JRF and GATE. Preeti’s career interests are focused on the green chemistry, industrial efficiency, circular economy, techno-economic and life cycle assessment.
