Dr. Puspa Upreti is currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has a strong background in the study of short-range order in crystalline systems using diffuse x-ray and neutron scattering techniques to correlate the local structure with the bulk properties of the system. Currently, Dr. Upreti is involved in inelastic neuron and x-ray scattering measurements on phonon dispersion and lifetimes in quantum and nuclear fuel materials.
