Ryan M. Shivers

Ryan Shivers is a researcher in the Embedded Systems Security (ESS) Group in the Cyber Resilience and Intelligence Division. Before joining ORNL as a staff member, Ryan attended Tennessee Tech University where he earned a M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Assurance and Security and a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Software and Scientific Applications.

Ryan’s current research is a collaboration with the Augmented Analyst Intelligence group also within the Cyber Resilience and Intelligence Division. This work involves utilizing natural language processing to prepare data for ingestion into a fusion and visualization engine which allows for entity relations to be discovered between multiple structured and unstructured datasets.
