Severine M. Cambier

Severine Cambier is a Technical Associate in the Corrosion Science and Technology group at ORNL. She conducts material compatibility testing, purification, and chemical analysis of molten salts. She also evaluates the corrosion performance of aluminum alloys to guide secondary alloy design. Previously, she worked at Arconic, where she developed aluminum alloys and solved complex corrosion challenges such as stress corrosion cracking for aerospace applications. She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Fontana Corrosion Center at The Ohio State University.
