Wolfgang S. Schreyer

Growing up in the shadow of the Bavarian Alps I studied physics at the Technical University of Munich. There I worked on PENeLOPE, an experiment to precisely measure the beta-decay lifetime of the neutron. After completing my PhD in I joined TRIUMF in Vancouver, Canada, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working with the TUCAN collaboration on a new, world-leading ultracold-neutron source and an experiment to search for an electric dipole moment of the neutron.

In 2023 I joined the Neutron Symmetries group in ORNL’s Physical Sciences Directorate where I am involved in the Nab experiment measuring the kinematics of neutron beta decay to study the underlying weak interaction.
