Yan-Ru Lin is an R&D Scientist in the Radiation Effects and Microstructural Analysis Group (REMAG) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a Bredesen Center Joint Faculty at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research focuses on understanding radiation damage in nuclear materials under neutron and ion irradiation, with a particular emphasis on transmission electron microscopy. Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
