Abstract
This system design description (SDD) document records the developing design information for the integrated security and safety monitoring system (ISSMS) project. The purpose of the ISSMS is to develop a system for monitoring and reporting on safety and security parameters for US Department of Energy (DOE) spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and high-level radioactive waste (HLW) railcars.
